The 1980's called... (Recording sax for Walking Irrevocable)
I was super pleased and honored to help out with the saxophone tracks in Horizons 1982’s latest single, Walking Irrevocable. This is a killer synthwave track and his production on it is really, really good. Such an iconic, classic sound! He hired me to record saxophone for the lead parts of the song and it was a really fun and inspiring project to take part in. Check out the single here below:
A Global Approach
Perhaps it’s having grown up in the 80’s but I just LOVE the retro but yet modern vibe of synthwave music. And it’s something that the saxophone is really well suited for. Another neat fact – I met Horizons 1982 after collaborating with another synthwave artist, Sleepless Nights. He also introduced me to Sandor Gavin and we worked together on a track called Moments Lost in Time. Horizons 1982 is in Columbia, Sleepless Nights is from the UK, Sandor Gavin is in NYC and I’m in Austin, TX. Truly a neat time to be alive and working with folks literally all over the globe!
So turn up the speakers, put on a Member’s Only jacket with some shades and listen to Walking Irrevocable. I hope you enjoy it!
