I’m proud to share my music for The Spirit Tree! When composing music for Sciplay, many times I write large scale, epic music that involves a lot of activity. That’s what supports the theme and game style. So it’s really nice and refreshing when I get to take another route – which is exactly what I got to do with The Spirit Tree! The incredible artwork (made by Jen Yung) and more peaceful vibe opened up the door for me to create something I’m truly proud of and I hope you enjoy it! Go check it out below and please let me know what you think! The slot has been featured in several our SciPlay’s casinos including Monopoly Slots and Quick Hit Casino. Keep an eye out for where it might pop up next!

I love all of the colors used in this theme’s artwork!

The Old Tree, a new track by Austin, TX based composer/sound designer Nathan Madsen.

Nature can be so beautiful, mysterious and enchanting. That’s what this short track is focused on. Outside of my studio and freelance work, as both a composer, sound designer and studio musician, I’ve been working on a few personal tracks. This song wasn’t written for anything in particular, just trying to capture a mood. As the music evolved, I started seeing an old tree in a dense forest. Perhaps this tree is magical? Who knows. In my mind’s eye, I could see how the sun beams would peek through and the deep grooves of its bark. The tree would seem to rise up forever and be older than time itself. Maybe I should cut back on the drugs while composing… 😛 I may come back and touch up on a few things but, overall, I’m happy with it. I hope you enjoy it!

Any comments are always welcomed and thanks for listening! This track is currently available for license.

This track was written for Disney’s Threads of Mystery, a social, hidden object game on Facebook. Later I hired the amazing John Rodd to mix it. The track’s aim was to convey the magic, excitement and mystery of a movie set. I hope you enjoy it!

Antilia, an MMO being developed by Right Brain Games, is now seeking funding via Kickstarter and is off to a great start! Please consider supporting this project as it has great promise. Here’s one of the tracks I wrote for the game:
