SkateBIRD is headed to Sony PS4 & PS5
Come June 2nd, you’ll be able to grind on bendy straws and do tricks as a little bird on a skateboard on the PS4 and PS5. SkateBIRD came out in 2021 for Nintendo Switch, itch.io, Xbox and Steam. As a Playstation guy, I was so hoping SkateBIRD would come over to the PS4/5 platform. And now we are!
“After winning a Game of the Year in the category of music with NintendoForce, we’re stoked to be making SkateBIRD accessible to an entirely new community of PlayStation users,” said Megan Fox, founder, Glass Bottom Games. “As well, we are continuing the pursuit of flight by bringing a plethora of new content to our established band of birds on other platforms.”
More music too
The update includes a new level, tricks and missions coming to all platforms as well as more music. 16 more minutes of music to be specific! Introducing the SkateBIRD EP Official Bonus Soundtrack. The current, in-game running time for all music sits at one hour and fifteen minutes. By far, the longest soundtrack I’ve yet to produce! You can check out the EP on all major streaming platforms as well as stores. Here’s a quick list of the stores/platforms the EP will be one (some are already live while others are pending):
