Calling All Space Janitors! Virballs is hitting Early Access!
I first met Eric Claeys while working at NetDevil on LEGO Universe. He’s a highly skilled and talented artist and we’ve kept tabs on each other since then. Virballs is our first chance to get to work together again and I’m really having a blast! The game has a quick, quirky vibe so I did my best to match that with the music I’m writing. On top of composing, I’m getting to implement the music as well. This is always a treat as I love the puzzle of designing systems and hooking music and sounds into a game’s structure.
To learn more about the game go here. As I can, I’ll update you on things as they’re made public so keep an eye out. I’m very excited to play Virballs as well as see how the public reacts to it. Go check out the Steam page and wishlist it!
The Wizarding World
It’s been so much fun to see our fans react and play the game since it’s launched. I’ve even learned a few new moves from them! There are more updates coming to game including: The next Patch for #QuidditchChampions is on the way for all platforms! Maintenance Mode for this Patch will begin tomorrow, 10/10 at 9:45 AM PT. Reviews are fairing pretty well too!
It’s Fall! At least in name.
I’ve got some more things in the work but can’t share just yet. Midway through the Fall semester with my third year teaching at UTK as well. The Texas weather is finally getting a tiny bit cooler. My wife loves decorating for Fall. Madsen Studios LLC will turn 19 in just over two weeks! Crazy how fast time is going. The fact that next year will mark 20 years since my dream of doing game audio became a reality is mind boggling!
I hope that you’re all doing well, enjoying some cooler temps and getting ready for the Holidays. They’ll be here before we know it!
