A First For Me! Published manuscript music!
Sheet music (manuscript) is now available for some of my solo piano works! If you follow my Spotify, Soundcloud or Bandcamp accounts, you know that I’ve been writing solo piano music for a while. It’s something very different from everything else I do and the piano is the first instrument I began playing and improvising on. One song, It Was You, All Along has performed pretty well and a fan wrote me directly, asking for sheet music so it could be performed at her wedding! What an honor! I was thrilled!
Check out the first page below:
You can hear the piece on many platforms including Apple Music, Youtube Red, Pandora, Bandcamp, iTunes and many others. If you’d like a copy of the sheet music, it costs $10. You can Paypal me the money and I’ll send you a copy of the music.
FIVE DAYS!!!!!
Excuse the all caps but SkateBIRD releases to the world in just FIVE DAYS!!!!!!!
I’m both excited and SUPER nervous. I think it will do well, there’s certainly plenty of excitement and chatter around the game. It almost feels surreal that the game will actually launch so soon. What started as a simple, quirky prototype grew into something MUCH larger than anyone on the team expected. And I know that the soundtrack is perhaps my best to date. It’s certainly the longest! If you missed the OST, then go check it out here:
Keep an eye out for SkateBIRD which launches on Xbox, Steam, Itch.io, Luna and Switch Sept 16th!
What Else?
I’ve been super busy with my work at SciPlay. I can’t go into too many details but there’s plenty of neat things happening. I can’t wait for you all to experience what we’ve all been working on. I’m also working on a short film, doing original music, sound design and mix. This is a side project that should be really fun. The director I’m working with is located in Australia so it’s fascinating to hear what life is like on the other side of the globe.
On the hobby side of things, I’ve started playing Dragon Quest 8 again. I never finished it on the PS2 and finally broke down and grabbed the DS copy. I’m such a nerd but I’m loving every minute of it!
I think that’s about it for this update. If you need great audio, let’s chat. I’d love to work with you!
